Each morning we awake and thank God for another day! What will this day bring? Happiness, excitement, challenge, temptations or just Ho Hum? How much of this day is our choice and how much is just there? Are we in control of our destiny?

I have a 1982 Chrysler Le Baron convertible, which I call “my toy”. I enjoy putting the top down and “tooling” about feeling the freedom of the breeze. Last Saturday the red engine light flashed a couple of times, then went to solid red and the car died. I could do nothing except call for a tow, which I did. Out of my control! Yes, but how I handled the situation was totally in my control.

Sometimes, life has it’s bumps! Nothing we do can change these from happening, but what we do about any given situation is in our control. We can think life is giving us a bum steer or we can look at the situation and ask, “what am I to learn from this lesson”? Most successful people have had a number of situations happen which could either make or break them.

I believe we make our own destiny, by our inner desires, ambitions, teachings, wants, beliefs or just plain stubbornness.

Do you allow yourself to dream of the things you would like to have happen in your life? If you can dream it, it can happen. As the mind thinks, so it is! Our minds are extremely powerful. We can think “Ho Hum”, or we can take control and make life as we would like it to be. Even the worst situation can be in your control to change. It’s strictly up to you. Are you satisfied to take the abuse in a relationship or will you take control of yourself and your destiny? The choice is yours!

Whatever you do in life can be enhanced by hypnosis. If people knew the awesome power of their subconscious mind, it’s ability to effect positive change without any conscious effort on their part, they would truly be amazed.

Every problem has a cause, when you eliminate the cause from the computer we call the subconscious mind, the problem disappears. Most difficult things in life are controlled by fear. Fear of someone else, fear of change, fear of being alone, fear of more pain, the list goes on and on. Through hypnosis, we simply locate the cause, change the person’s perception of the events and the fear usually disappears. Hypnotherapy is extremely effective in the control of chronic pain. Many people have found the pain of arthritis and cancer can be dramatically alleviated through hypnosis and self hypnosis training.

Although hypnotherapy is not a panacea, the areas in which it has been a tremendous help to thousands of people are virtually endless.

Personally, I like to awaken in the morning looking forward to whatever God has in store for me this day. I also like to thank him for whatever has happened at the end of the day!

Life is to be lived, even if it’s only for a few more moments.

My choice; happiness, excitement, challenge and temptations!

Thank you Lord !
